Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones
Admittedly, I haven't read much this past year. I've been in kind of a slump because I'm just not feeling the books that I have and I just don't know what kind of book I want to read. What I like about the Charley Davidson series is that, while it's primarily categorized as Paranormal Romance, it also has elements of Mystery. Charley is a great character. She's sassy without being a huge pain in the ass... and she's proactive. I've missed that in characters because I've been reading mostly YA. Darynda Jones is a great writer and even her teen series, which I don't like nearly as much, is pretty good.

My Favorite Movie
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
I'm not a huge movie person. I'm not the kind of person that sits down with a movie when I'm bored. I much prefer TV. So, I'm a little particular about the movies that I go see in theaters. The one I had been looking forward to most was Catching Fire and it did not disappoint.

My Favorite Songs
As you see, most of my favorite songs are from Korean drama soundtracks. I did have a few other songs, though. I'm surprised that I liked a Taylor Swift song, but it's there. My favorite song for the year is the first listed- Wake Up from the Shut Up Flower Boy Band OST. Buy Wake Up MP3 on Amazon
My Favorite Video Game(s)
I have two favorite games for different reasons. The first one I played on and off throughout the year. The second one was kind of a one-time kind of game.
The Sims 3
Sims 3 keeps sucking me back in with new expansion packs. This year, I got the University Life, Island Paradise and Into the Future packs. I've logged a lot of hours on this game.
Ni no Kuni
I love Japanese style RPGs. One of my favorite series is the Tales series. Ni no Kuni plays just like a Tales game. It also had the added benefit of Studio Ghibli's animation.
